The Alpaca Fleece-filled Bird Nesting Ball® created by Julie Verhelst and Kimberly Buechner Fouse/All Things Alpaca, LLC (PATENTED). A 4" diameter natural-finished grapevine ball handcrafted with at least three colors of huacaya alpaca fiber. (Alpaca comes in 22 natural colors.) Fiber from animals raised on our farm in the United States. Handcrafted in Ohio and Kentucky. Among our artisans are the transition/work study (special education) students of six high schools in the greater Cincinnati area and transition students at the University of Cincinnati. The nesting ball provides an all-natural nesting material for backyard birds. Hangs from a jute rope from a tree. Even when exposed to the elements, the fleece dries back to its natural, soft state.
